Android is open source software made by google.
It is inspired and based on open source operating system on unix commonly
known linux
But the weirdest part if androids are there names.
first operating android system was called
1>Cupcake(1.5) then
2>Donut (1.6)
3> Eclair (2.0–2.1) then
4> Froyo (2.2–2.2.3) then
4>Gingerbread (2.3–2.3.7) then
5> Honeycomb (3.0–3.2.6) then
6> Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0–4.0.4) then
7> Jelly Bean (4.1–4.3) then
8> KitKat (4.4). latest of all
Why google gives so weird names to them no idea!!
